Online Brand Awareness – the most important part of any marketing Campaign

Before diving deep into this subject, I just want to share a story with you all – This story is about my college days and it’s about a friend of mine, Rohit. I call him “BRO”. He used to live in a hostel near our college. We were in 1 st year of our engineering 

I used to be with him for 24 hours because these were the initial days of my college. I really wanted to go abroad for my studies but I was not able to do it. Thus, I used to stay in a hostel with him. Rohit was a really crazy guy; there are many things to share about him- but let’s come to the point. Rohit falls for a girl who was our senior and was really very beautiful, she was in her last year. Somehow he got her number and started sharing messages to her but that was not about what he felt for her, general good morning wishes, and goodnight wishes. Doing it for around 5 days, she pinged him back and asked him his name and also replied with a “thanks for such inspiring quotes”. I was really shocked, I thought she would not like it and even shout at him but no, then they became friends, and Rohit kept on doing this.

 He shared something inspiring, motivating, educating, logical jokes, etc. One day I asked Rohit bro, why you are not saying her that you like her or love her so much? Rohit replied, she had a boyfriend and once she will complete engineering they will marry and even their families are aware of that so there is no sense to express my feelings to her. I was again shocked and replied to him – then stop talking to her & sending her your creations why you are wasting your time. So he replied in a very filmy way – “ Dil Hai ki manta nahi ”. 

Now that girl thinks that Rohit has a habit to share such valuable stuff and she understood nothing. My Bro was becoming really creative because of that stuff. Now the time came when the last year students completed their degrees and got placed. Ruchi got placed in Bangalore (oh sorry that is the name of the girl) and her boyfriend got placed in Mumbai. I and Bro are in 2nd year. 

Rohit was too creative and soon he started his startup where he started selling some art products online and he kept updating everything to Ruchi and she was also sharing all her creative ideas. She helped him so well and luckily (for Rohit), she had broken up with his boyfriend because he cheated on her – Long distance is a tough thing. Rohit expressed her about his feelings and then finally they came into a relationship after 2 years. His startup is doing good as BRO has targeted Bangalore so well with her Queen… Hahahaha.

Well, what Rohit was doing was actually Brand Awareness – Sharing valuable content and knowledge in a creative way that is connecting. After so many ups and down finally, he nailed it and yes, it’s about love. Loving our Audience and giving them value. As per my deep analysis of all the big and popular brands like – COCA-COLA, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola all are doing Brand Awareness and building a great buzz and creating a positive persona in their Audience brains.
